Next Steps Academy (formerly Alumni Program) provides ongoing support for Empower 48 graduates by helping them navigate the next phase of their professional and personal development. In addition to fostering communication, leadership, and practical life skills, this program provides a chance to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and continue building the life you envision. Your experience, insight, and leadership matter, whether you are mentoring others, building new skills, or serving as an ambassador for StepUp.
Next Steps Academy includes:
Speakers Circle (Toastmasters Club) is a supportive community where members practice public speaking, respond to impromptu questions, and receive constructive feedback to achieve personal and professional communication goals.
Ambassadors Program is a leadership development program that offers opportunities to learn essential leadership skills and foster a sense of ownership and pride by representing StepUp Ministry in the community.
Skills Lab is open to the public and provides comprehensive workshops on topics ranging from personal care to financial literacy and entrepreneurship, ensures ongoing learning and self-reliance.
