Life Skills Academy
Navigate the ups and downs of life.
StepUp’s Life Skills Academy is all about helping you and your family build the skills needed for long-term success. These skills include communication, financial literacy, emotional intelligence, and career development through an intensive family-focused case management program. Individuals will receive case management services with StepUp staff to reinforce progress, as well as personalized support from a mentor who helps you track your financial goals, provides accountability, and boosts confidence. Program participants are welcome to have their children join StepUp’s Youth and Young Adult Programs while attending classes. Using this multigenerational approach, we aim to foster long-term personal and professional growth for participants of all ages.
Eligibility: Participants must have a valid ID and Social Security Card, have no pending charges, be 30 days clean and sober, and be 45 days removed from Domestic Violence and NOT listed on the Sex Offender Registry. Life Skills Program participants must also be employed.

Empower 48 isn’t just a program—it’s a path to transformation. Our program is ideal for individuals and families seeking to build a stable future through accountability, mentorship, and personal development. This intensive, multi-generational 48-week case management program that blends group learning, mentorship, and individualized support. It is divided into four 12-week phases, each building on the last:
