Employment Academy

Employment Academy is committed to helping job seekers take the next step in their employment journey. This program teaches the skills and resources necessary to find and keep a meaningful job. Our holistic approach assists in identifying career interests and offers targeted hands-on training and development to increase the chances of long-term career success. In addition, we work with local employers to facilitate job placements and provide personalized case management to help you find the right job.
Eligibility: Participants must have a valid ID and Social Security Card, have no pending charges, be 30 days clean and sober, and be 45 days removed from domestic violence and NOT listed on the Sex Offender Registry.
Employment Academy includes:
Employment, Networking, Empowerment, Resources, and Growth (ENER-G) is a weekly program that helps individuals develop employment skills. Parents are welcome to have their children participate in StepUp's Youth and Youth Adult Programs while they attend classes.
Employment Boot Camp is a multi-day workshop designed to sharpen job skills and prepare job seekers for the workforce.
Employment Accelerator provides quick, targeted employment skills training through short community-based sessions co-hosted by StepUp partners.
